This happened a few months ago when I had my training on Internal Quality Audit by TUV SUD at Alpa City Suites last May 9-10, 2013.

Getting there in Alpha Suites was as easy as a walk in the park for me who easily gets lost. Why? Because you can never miss this if you are on the way to Sykes. And there is a huge label - ALPA CITY SUITES.

Anyways, I won't be sharing my training cause you might lose your appetite. What I was about to share was the food served in the training. Well, I guess most of them are very familiar dishes that you can get almost any restos here in Cebu. But what made these tasty was the presentation and the reason that these was for free wahahha. Aside from that, the food were really delicious.

These were the few tasty treats I tried while under training:

Pancakes in the House!

Sumptuous mushroom soup! :)

This is their very tasty salad.

Beef something meal ^__^ Sorry I forgot the name

I was really not sure what was the name of this dish when this was served. This was just leche plan haha. Presentation was cool enough :)

Note: I was too lazy to relabel the photo :) Sorry but it's not Alpa Suites, it's Alpa City Suites :)

The training was good and so was the food. They also serve breakfast buffets.
I can't to try their breakfast buffet :)

If you want to check them out, here's where you can find them :

Till then.

Last Aug. 03, 2013, a friend of mine suggested we do a little practice run in preparation for some event later this month. So we started the run around 6am in the morning. And it took us almost an hour or so to run 10 km (including passing through 2 bridges; The 1st and 2nd bridges).

This left us an empty stomach grieving for a sumptuous breakfast. It was around 8, I guess that we had trouble deciding where to eat. But then we decided to go to Bo's Coffee (Ayala Branch).

I am not fan with coffee or coffee shops (because of the smell of coffee). So, I don't go or do spent some culinary escapades in them. That being said, this was my first time in Bo's coffee (Ayala Branch). There were a few people in the shop when we arrived (Well, I guess it was too early to be hanging around shops anyway.) Then, one of us approached the counter and did the ordering.

I was looking up for the menu but saw only coffee and some hot and cold drinks. But then I noticed a small menu list near the counter. Geez. It was there all along.

There were familiar names on the list. But I saw no rice :) . So I asked if they had a rice meal. To my dismay, they only had bread toasts or pancakes to pair with the meal :(

Quite brokenhearted, I picked the less conspicuous in the list : Corned Beef Omelet pair with Bread toast and hot choco which cost PHP 150.00. Actually, I was happy I had to chose hot choco from coffee :) .

After paying, we went to our seats. Okay one thing I like in this place was the seat :) In enjoying what you eat, another important thing to consider other than the meal itself is the whole seat-table set up as well. I sat comfortably in my chair waiting for my order :)

The hot choco arrived first. It took me a few sec to notice that there was some design on the choco. I guess it is a heart on something though whahha :) I hurriedly took a shot of it

Then, the meal came after a few minutes.
First I thought there was a scope of ice scream :) but it was just butter wahahahaha. I was fooled :)

After nam-nam-nam-nam mode, I could say that my breakfast was delicious. I don't know if it had to do with my very hungry stomach or the whole hot choco-meal combo. I really enjoyed what I ate. It may not be that epic breakfast I had, but definitely one of the breakfast experiences I will do over again :)

Happy to spent a breakfast culinary escapade in Bo's coffee.

on the platter

Deadlines have been catching up lately. So, it was pretty much difficult to have food trips. July ended without the foodies going anywhere. At the start of August, everyone's taste buds were eager to taste some dishes. Then, we agreed to try Italian cuisine which leads us to this restaurant in Ayala Center Cebu - The Terraces named as "La Tegola". I don't know where the name comes from but as per google translate, la tegola means "the tile". Hmm, I was wondering which tile it was referring to.

Anyways, as we entered the resto, a lady guided us to our seats and we started flipping the pages of the menu. Well honestly, without the ingredients of the dishes listed, I would have been lost on the dish's names.

On the table, there was an appetizer served.Definitely, it was really an appetizer. Because after finishing the whole plate, we were so eager to have our meal.

Since none of us knew which tastes the best, each of us ordered a dish different from the other. And also we tried the combo pasta which contains 6 types of pasta dishes.

When everyone started eating, no one spoke a word which was a sign that each of us were concentrating on the food we ate. After the whole course, everyone agreed that all were sumptuous!! The food orders plus a few drinks billed an amount of Php 2180. Quite expensive for 4 people, I know. But as per my taste buds is concern, "the price is just right".

Trying Italian Cuisine was a good experience. I had one memorable meal at La Tegola. Hope to eat again here and try more of their dishes.

After the fun after-party last July 29 2012, my friends suggested to drop by at some store in Ibabao, Mandaue City to eat. And we came into this store near the street. It looks some kind of a short-stop eatery (kainan). I don't really have an idea what they sell at first but then my friends started ordering "batchoy". If you don't know what batchoy is go to this link >> Batchoy Information . I am not that noodles or pasta fan. So I was kindda hesistant ordering batchoy. But then, I was curious why these people were ordering it.  Maybe, it's the store's specialty (who knows). Out of hunger and curiosity, I ordered one.

As seen above, it looked delicious. And smell was so enticing. I grabbed the spoon and starting sipping the soup. Well honestly, it was delicious. No wonder my friends brought me here. Batchoy in that store was definitely worth a try. Well, I was short of info about the exact name of the store and location. I'll post it here as soon as I get the info.

As part of a celebration, me and my workfriends went out and eat at Mamma Maria's Pizzeria   (G/F Skyrise 1 Asia Town IT Park Branch). We underestimated the serving size thinking we were too hungry to not finish a 13xxl (good for 12 people). We were just 5 people but without hesitation, we ordered a 30inch pizza as seen in the picture. I am not that fond of pizza but this one is really good. This order also comes with 2 1.5L-bottle of softdrinks of your choice. This cost us Php 1,135. We ate 2/3 and brought the rest home. The staff were pretty much accommodating. I went home so full and happy! Try this guys and I dare you on the Pizzeria Challenge!

When I saw someone posted this on Facebook, I thought this was some book. Sooner I knew that it's one of the pastry shops here in Cebu. Amazingly, the shop was located near my usual route going to school.

Thanks to my supervisor, I got to taste these tasty treats yesterday! My favorite was cupcake on the left side of the picture below. I guess its Triple Chocolate. [sorry, i'll update this as soon as I can get the names of the cakes tsk tsk.] Actually, all the cupcakes taste so good. As per price is concern, according to my supervisor, this cost Php 50 each. For me, it's really worth the price!
